Wow 23% oxygen saturation….that is more than the 21% we have now lmfao. Shows me that the author is lazy in 1 chapter
More doesn't always mean better. Apparently oxygen saturation over 21% can be damaging to your body over elongated exposure, while everything above 23,5% is already considered “dangerous level”, so they're close.
They seemed to be more concerned with radiation though, and let's not even start with what's wrong with how THIS works 😅.
I think looking for realism in this kind of comic might have been our mistake to begin with 🤪.
It's 23,76% in this manhwa, so it's already beyond the minimum dangerous level. It's suggesting that the atmosphere can combust or explode at any time, if combustible gas is present in the air
These guys are lucky they're not burnt to crisp the moment they landed. At daytime, no less.
Edit: I mean, aside from oxygen poisoning, combustion and explosion could be another hazard in this 23,76% Oxygen-saturated Earth.
Nice! I didn’t even begin to think of this perspective.
Although I’ve some concerns. Doesn’t this apply to confined spaces only? Or can we treat the atmosphere as one in this scenario? It would seem to make sense, for gravity to act like a lid in a big simplified sense, but whatever they’re using to fly is already burning, right? So, I’m guessing they couldn’t care less about combustion. Explosion is, I think, dependent on the quantity of a combustible material and I think even if they were leaking some gas it would be like a drop in the ocean, barely enough to make it count when mixed in the atmosphere. The opposite way – that would be worse. When the air, especially that sweet oxygen would go inside their fuel tank.
But it’s all my thoughts, deductions and imaginations. I’m not too knowledgeable about the subject so I would like to ask you to clarify how it really is.
And because I’m not too sure how it’ll come across I just want to point out, I’m not trying to nitpicking or anything. All this is driven by clean curiosity – nothing less and nothing more.
You're right. I mean it depends on the volume of combustible materials present and the temperature of the atmosphere, right. Still, it might not be as potent as it is in enclosed space, but fire will still burn hotter and harder to put out in open air, and combustible gas will still be more volatile compared to what we have now. Forest fire will be more common, or even happens all the time, too. So, yeah, it can't be said as an "enclosed space" and can't be as dangerous as one, but it is still a hazardous space to inhabit. Vehicles will be much more limited I'm sure, firefighters will be busy, and cooking might become an extreme sport. And given they're flying in a shuttle, they really *might* explode. Radiation aside, I won't want to live in that kind of planet.
For it to reach "enclosed space" level of danger, you probably need twice as much (I'm not sure) or even more. ±30% is still not enough to make it as dangerous as 23,76% in enclosed space, anyway (but enough to make modern human suffer). ±30% was the highest the oxygen saturation of the atmosphere about 360 million years ago ever reached. It was also time when mammals don't exist. However, 60% is sure to scorch the Earth until all oxygen is used up. So, yeah, you get the point.
Anyway, what I mentioned was really just an extreme example of what could happen if the oxygen entered the shuttle's fuel tank, or by some chance the shuttle traveled through a cluster of gas that's just waiting for enough temperature to burn (in which case, the shuttle and crew might overheat, burn, and/or explode). It's something that won't happen in our Earth, but might happen in this story. Since the shuttle must have radiated some heat, too, I think 23,76% is enough to do that, anyway.
23,76% could also be just an average, because there is no way the whole planet has equal amount of oxygen concentration. So, when I said they're lucky, that includes the possibility that the space they travelled through might have had less than 23,76%, making it less hazardous to fly through.
As for oxygen poisoning, you'll probably get used to it if you survive, lol. It is still a dangerous living space, tho. Even if you survive, you'll age faster and die earlier. At least compared to now. Radiation and fire hazard aside, it is still not a good place to live
Addition: Although you will live shorter life at 23,76%, if you survive, you'll also be faster, smarter, and stronger than you are right now. At least, theoretically. Or, at the very least, you are guaranteed to have a lot more energy in you. So, even if it is not a good place to live, it is a good place to, idk, research? Study? Work? Show off? 😂
All is clear now.
Thank you very much.
Oxygen becomes a concern as more radiation exposure means more ozone formation which is toxic for human body. And oxygen cant burn alone if there is nitrogen as it controls its combustion. So u need to see the atmosphere composition.
"Author lazy"
-someone who doesn't bother researching themself, lol
5/5 for now
nice.
That woman was just getting ran through. She has like 70 baby daddies
Nahhhh 💀
Yeah read that and was like wow..
I've seen worst….
The red girl needs to piss off. She really is annoying
The situation in 3077
Mfs in 2024:"Then nuke has been planted"
brat lil bro thinks hes stronger then mc
ı think ı find a new waifu btw
The belong earth and sky I'm the strongest ım the horny one
-new waifu
Looks female enough
-some kitkat
I was skeptical when I read the synopsis of this one, but it’s actually really good so far?
MC is strong, but clearly he isn’t OP, since the sword matron is around his strength. I would also assume there will be a few old monsters that are as strong as her too.
The space setting is well done and interesting so far. I’m really enjoying the combination of the classic Murim themes and sects with the Sci-Fi setting.
I’m looking forward to where this manhwa will go, since they aren’t limited to China/central plains region and the typical setting anymore.
yup , this manhwa feels like such a fresh air. Hope the story continues to deliver 🙏🙏
Hes on par with her but by default mc is far more stronger since i assume sword matron used technology to be strong and mc only used physically and mentally so ye
This is hella good
Guys you must read this
Please dont drop this🥲
This is too good🥲
Damn
Interesting mix much better than many other wuxia/sci-fi works. Not ideal but have nice rustic charm.
Another 2 chapters in a day🥹
nice.
Dokjin is funny af
lol so every one in the era of the galactic something ain't even got no understanding of cultivation so they just replicated things that requires real cultivation and just used tech so just artificial understanding
It's like the bug use of some poison sect in Counterattacking System Available At The Grand Ascension Stage
Yeah, i think it's the same thing
Oh, some kind of invisible shield… That explains a few things.
yeah you could faintly see it when the blazing demon girl went onto earth for the first time, if you look closely theres something opaque surrounding her
This is some good shit

nice.
Nice.
Lanjut
Only 1 chap ths week :c
Mass release is like throwing bait into the water and gather fish
It's good would recommend, the art choices in some instances are a bit odd, but the story and art are good otherwise.
Kinda wish I found this when there was more than 10 chapters.
Where can i read the novel for this manhwa?
heya, the novel is not translated I think

Reminds me of Star Trek
nice.
one women rap or sex multi man ,wtf
Thank youuu i love youuu
Thank god and mangadex I found this, I go through a lot of website to find this manhwa just by advance search filter which are martial arts, sci-fi, and year released, mangadex is awesome. Anyways I make sure to book mark this and not forget.
Yeah I upload on Mangadex too xD but stay on our site ofc heh
we already find our slaves?
fillers? that sucks

I'm confused. Do they not understand him? He was talking to the Matron just fine before, as well as the little girl?
He was probably speaking in a low voice
He was probably speaking in a low voice
It would make a lot less sense if those "geezers" actually did some maintenance on a radiation-filled, uninhabitable, visitor-less Mt. Tai😅!
Another martial arts project where the characters all just fly off the handles instead of having a basic conversation (orthodox can't receive a hug without killing, huh?😑). Speaking of speaking, that crew's been in spaceship traveling throughout space so some time has naturally passed from point A to B to C, but how much info does that crew have on our HD? None. That's such a massive plothole it's unreal😅! It's not like this HD is unpersonable. They haven't learned anything because the author didn't take any of that into account when they wrote the story (among many other things so far)! I'm gonna try to read what 's available, but atp my expectations are under the floorboards.
SN: gauges on an HD who's from the flat Earth era? How out of place, how quirky😑.
Locked/imprisoned in an underground tomb for 2000 years on a radioactive Earth and he's strong af… when he called himself the HD, lights bulbs should've flashed in their heads and a loud, in unison "AHHH, THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE" should've been heard echoing across their ship's bulkheads! Almost any other answer wouldn't make sense at all! He's just an office worker; he's a student; he's on vacay… all nonsense answers! He's a God; he's the devil; he's an immortal… those are kinda the only LOGICAL answers atp! And technically the HD fits all 3🤣! Them simply blowing off his logical answer? Just another pmothole to add to the pile😑.
Tell me, if you meet Jesus, and he revives a dead bird in front of you, or turn water to wine, will you believe he is Jesus? Or, will you just assume he's a magician and the dead bird and water to wine was just a trick?
Even hardcore Christians would doubt lmao
Yeah, I just don't know what to think of this😅. I really like the concept. It's an interesting take on a genre that's nearly played out. The delivery absolutely sucks, though. There's also far too much gag. Usually, it's being used at inappropriate times. The eating thing is just too much. The first meal made sense, and was even funny. After that, it made no sense. He shouldn't need to eat. Why he is, and so excessively, is most likely only for humor's sake (but China's comedy is almost always corny, rather than funny). Corny is not good for this genre (it's even off putting). The mc's character design is a total no-go. Classic would've been best, since he's from that era and only knows that era (the haircut makes no sense, when you take that into account). Orthodox coming out swinging bcuz of a hug; lack of communications all around; there's a slew of problems with this one. I'm leaning more out than in right now. We'll see how the next few chapters are.
🇰🇷, actually
Lol a young man that is older than the others in his era saying to kill his Ancestor who's still young looking than him
nice.
I really hope they find out hes their ancestor
Really hope the dude won't have to wipe out his own sect. Especially since apparently it has reached the status he dreamed of.
Yeah, lets kill the person who has mastered our sect's martial arts and 2nd ultimate skill, great fricking idea dude
Based on the fact that it's the heavenly demon sect, meaning they are training a possibly incomplete manual of demonic technique, that gramps probably a little coco from inner demon or heightened aggression
That might be true seeing how he crazy he became
It's odd that martial arts would not advance at all in 2000 years and would actually regress if you think about it.
Rather than not advanced, it feels like they found out about internal power late, after the world is devastated and the original user like mount hua or the shaolin were either in decline because of the weapon and technological advances or because they only have halve burned/or broken manual.
This conclusion is taken from the fact that manuals is highly sought after, as if the shaolin didn't have their 72 art or the mount hua didn't have their peach blossom sword techniques
Plum, peach is us
Uh… Maybe because people moved to, idk, GUNS???? That's why nuclear weapons existed and the Earth ruined????? Martial arts can only be used by talented and hardworking people. Guns, on the other hand….
So, slowly but surely, most of humanity moved on to firearms and nuclear weapons, and they waged wars with each other until the Earth is ruined. Martial artists and what's left of humanity, as expected, survived and fled to space. Now, no nuclear weapons are allowed.
If you /actually/ think about it, it makes perfect sense.
Not really?
Technology developed and martial arts must have become a hobby thing and no longer focused by the majority of people.
Then, after the world was ruined and technology-based weapons became frowned upon, martial arts made a ressurgence but most of the original and traditional knowledge is either lost or kept internally by major sects and families, so most people have to do with half-complete techniques or improper methods.
I thought internal energy and qi were the same. Also, I love that the Heavenly Demonic Sect of the future's base is just the Death Star.
Ya it is the same concept. Qi/Chi is the manifestation of your internal energy . Without internal energy , you cannot manifest that energy into forms but you still have it.
TThanks for the chapter
